Bluefors is seeking a self-driven technically savvy and enthusiastic Cryo Engineer to join our growing

As a Cryo Engineer your job will include hands-on assembly and testing of dilution refrigerator systems
documenting and commissioning Bluefors systems with high-quality standards. You will be able to
develop yourself with challenging and varying tasks and grow with the company in a high-tech
environment. The position requires a 1-2 months long introduction period at headquarters in Helsinki
Finland after which the work will be stationed in the U.S.

To succeed in this role you must have a minimum MSc-level degree in applied or technical physics and
excellent presentation this position you can work with high-quality technology in an
international environment. Our international organization is growing fast and we continuously develop

grow together with us. This position is based out of our Brooklyn NY office with flexibility for remote
work. Candidates must reside in New York California or Illinois to be considered for this role. Please
note that occasional in-person meetings or events may be required.

Your main responsibilities would be

• Versatile system-level assembly and system testing of cryogenic dilution refrigerators
• On-site installation and acceptance testing at customer site
• Factory acceptance testing and on-site installation with the client
• Delivery of wide range of expert services for Bluefors systems

What we expect from you

• Basic IT skills and office programs
• MSc or higher degree in applied/technical physics
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Good team working skills and customer service attitude
• Positive and hands-on attitude
• Commitment to high-quality
• Ability to work systematically and independently

We also appreciate

• Knowledge of safe cryogenic engineering practices
• A valid drivers license (minimum 1 year from acquiring the license) with no major or frequent
  traffic violations is a must have in order to visit customer sites
• Experience in experimental physics
• Low temperature experience
• Excellent communication skills
