Job Summary
Position: Travel Pharmacist

Schedule: 13 weeks 7 on / 7 off
Shift Hours: 11:00 AM 9:30 PM
Setting: Central pharmacy overseeing technician staff order verification clinical documentation and operational support
Hospital: Mission Hospital Memorial Campus (B Tower)
Bed Count: 815
Pharmacy Staff:
Day Shift 34 pharmacists
Night Shift 3 pharmacists
Equipment: Talyst Machine Pyxis LAFW CAI
EMR: Cerner Vigilanz
Hospital pharmacy experience
Experience overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians
Emergency Department experience
Cerner and Vigilanz experience
3rd Shift experience
ACLS certification/experience
Order verification
Product checking and distribution
Answering clinical questions from nurses and providers
Supporting medication management policies
Team player with strong adaptability
Comfortable in high-stress environments
Able to multitask effectively
Positive and professional attitude
Active RPh License in North Carolina Required
ACLS Certification Preferred required only if working in ED
Floating Areas: As needed within central pharmacy operations
Dress Code: Forest Green scrubs (top and bottom) or black bottoms; business casual also permitted
Weekend/Holiday Rotation: 7 on / 7 off schedule includes weekends and holidays
