PORTWORX
The Portworx Enterprise Storage Platform is your end-to-end storage and data management solution for all your Kubernetes projects including container-based CaaS DBaaS SaaS and Disaster Recovery initiatives. Your apps will benefit from container-granular storage disaster recovery data security multi-cloud migrations and more.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
- Design and implement Storage stack features for Kubernetes platform
- Analyze and solve challenging problems through persistence and insight
- Own and deliver innovation end-to-end from concept to shipped product
- Analyze and solve customer escalations keep customers happy
- Working across compute network and storage components to identify bottlenecks.
- Work as a team with smart peers who inspire you and are inspired by you
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 7 years of experience with storage products with exposure to one or more of the following development languages: Python Go Shell C/C
- Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative team oriented environment
- End-to-end performance troubleshooting across compute network and storage components to identify bottlenecks
- Designing executing analyzing and troubleshooting storage performance benchmarks using industry-standard tools such as fio vdbench and other real-world application benchmarks.
- Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems Operating systems Linux Kernel and driver development Database internals Hypervisors Containers Compiler Optimization etc.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
- Solid CS background in data structures algorithms and software design
- Familiarity with storage performance benchmarking and relevant tools
