You will be part of the Energy and Industrial (E&I) team delivering capital projects for our platinum clients. The role is a key position within the WA & NT delivery team and is responsible for establishing implementing and managing the project controls framework to ensure effective planning cost control risk management and performance reporting across the project lifecycle.
The role requires strong communication and analytical skills and the ability to interface across all functions and levels.

Establish and manage project budgets cost control systems and forecasting processes.
Monitor project expenditure against budgets and commitments ensuring early identification of variances.
Provide accurate cost reports cash flow forecasts and variance analyses to support decision-making.
Oversee the management of project changes ensuring timely assessment of cost and schedule impacts.
Support the identification analysis and mitigation of project risks and opportunities.
Maintain cost and schedule integration.
Maintain Contruent and the project reporting dashboards in Power BI.
Provide key stakeholders with analysis and recommendations to support project governance and decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting data quality and project controls processes.
Process progress claims and reconcile with budgets and contracts.
Deliver project controls framework in line with the Capital Delivery standards.
Maintain and manage internal project governance

Bring with you your knowledge and experience in these areas:
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to use them to solve complex reporting issues
Experience as a Project Controller / Cost Controller
Power BI knowledge
Knowledge and exposure to Earned Value Management claims variations variance analysis project planning scheduling and cost analysis
Experience with industry standard Project Control software like PRISM G2/Contruent is highly regarded
Proven ability to manage multiple aspects of multiple projects with competing deadlines
