Individual Living Specialist II
A Individual Living Specialist II leads a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support to individuals with developmental disabilities ensuring their well-being and fostering their DSM oversees program planning staff training and the implementation of individualized service plans while also providing support and guidance to both individuals and staff.
Leadership and Supervision:
Directs and supervises DSP staff providing guidance mentorship and performance evaluations.
Program Planning and Implementation:
Develops and implements individualized support plans ensuring they are person-centered and aligned with organizational goals.
Staff Training and Development:
Oversees staff training including orientation ongoing professional development and compliance with relevant regulations.
Quality Assurance:
Monitors the quality of direct support services ensuring they meet standards and adhere to best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborates with other professionals including therapists medical staff and family members to ensure comprehensive support for individuals
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalency.
Three (3) years related working experience including service coordination experience
Valid Montana drivers license
Access to reliable vehicle.
Successfully complete a background check.
