Job Summary

Job Title: RN Medical Surgical (Stroke Stepdown)

Location: Utica NY 13502

Unit: MS Stroke Stepdown Patients Unit

Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)

Shift: Nights 3x12-Hour Shifts

Pay Rate: $2415 Weekly Gross

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a Stroke Stepdown/Medical-Surgical unit.
Monitor assess and document patient conditions with accuracy and timeliness.
Administer medications perform interventions and evaluate patient responses.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe effective and high-quality care.
Ensure patient safety and compliance with established hospital policies and protocols.
Utilize Epic EMR system for all patient documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Stroke Stepdown/Medical-Surgical RN experience required
Documented travel nursing experience required
Valid Drivers License required
Epic EMR experience required

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing (minimum)

Certifications

BLS (AHA) required
NIHSS Certification required
