Position Summary
We are searching an Industrial Automation Software Technician to support regulated manufacturing operations. This role will play a critical part in supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining troubleshooting and repairing automated systems while ensuring systems remain in a validated state through proper backup and restore practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot repair and maintain a variety of automated manufacturing equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Motion control systems Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) RFID systems Robotics and Vision systems.
Perform replacement and repair of computers connected to manufacturing systems.
Execute backup and restore procedures to ensure validated state of automation applications is maintained.
Support integration and configuration of automation systems and technologies.
Maintain thorough documentation of work performed in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of PLCs motion control systems HMIs RFID technology robotics and vision systems.
Hands-on experience with industrial IT systems including computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to adapt to changing schedules or work extended hours as needed (MondayFriday with flexibility for weekends holidays or night shifts as needed)
Education:
- High School Diploma associate or bachelors degree with the required automation experience.
- Provide schedule flexibility to meet business needs including potential support during weekends holidays and night shifts.
