Position Overview

Diligent is looking for a Product Designer to support UX/UI design work within our dynamic and fast-moving product design team. Existing within the broader UX department the design team oversees a range of projects providing the organization flexibility to explore future vision product work and support work that doesnt align to product team roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Product Design Lead and/or Project Owner to ensure design work aligns with project requirements and meets internal quality standards.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end design process - from early concepts to high-fidelity visuals and developer handoff.
  • Work closely with fellow designers Product Managers Engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate design decisions demonstrating a solid understanding of user needs design best practices and business goals.
  • Conduct user research activities as needed.
  • Support and contribute to a culture of ongoing learning and continuous improvement.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 3 years of professional experience in UX or product design.
  • Solid foundation in UX principles with a strong emphasis on visual design.
  • Comfortable managing multiple design tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing user-centered design work and a thoughtful design process.
  • Degree in design technology psychology or equivalent practical experience.
  • Some experience designing SaaS products ideally in B2B or enterprise contexts.
  • Exposure to product design cycles from early exploration to launch and iteration.
  • Proficient with modern design tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.
  • Clear and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a strong plus.
  • Bonus: Experience with illustration iconography or motion design.

A portfolio of work demonstrating your design process and passion for design online or pdf is required for consideration!
