As a Gas Fitter II you will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operations and keep up with the demanding and high-paced winter heating season. Advancement in the apprenticeship program is possible for the right individual.
What youll do:
Install service maintain and tear down temporary heating systems
Work with propane and natural gas systems
Service and maintain construction heaters
Load and unload equipment operating 1 and 2 tonne picker trucks
Provide superior customer service
Requirements:
Must be a registered 2nd or 3rd year in the provincial Gasfitter program.
Must have class 5 license and clean driving record
Experience in temporary construction heating
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Able to work overtime including on call shifts and possible weekends
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals policies and procedures.
