Full-Time 0.9 FTE 12-hour shifts Nights

$7500 Sign-on Bonus Available *Based on meeting eligibility requirements.

More about our team

The staffing pool provides RN staffing coverage to our med/surg neuro/ortho/peds rehab and cardiac units. Staffing pool nurses are exceptional nurses who easily adapt to change and can accommodate many different working environments. After one year working in the staffing pool nurses can train to specialty units such as ICU and the ED. Staffing pool is extremely rewarding and offers a multitude of learning opportunities to enhance nursing skills and critical thinking. One year nursing experience preferred.

How you will contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatment.

Documents patient care given.

Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team physician patient and family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we are looking for

Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors degree preferred).

Additional requirements include:

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
