Job Summary

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Sheriff Civil Process Server to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to serve legal documents such as subpoenas summons complaints orders and writs to individuals involved in court cases.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in law enforcement legal services or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Physical ability to walk stand and climb stairs for extended periods
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Responsibilities:
- Receive and review legal documents to determine the appropriate individuals to serve
- Travel to various locations to serve legal documents in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all documents are served in accordance with legal requirements
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed
- Communicate effectively with attorneys court officials and other involved parties
- Maintain confidentiality of all information encountered during the process serving

Salary:
The salary range for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
