Job Description Summary
Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks and experience with specialized engineering tools. Essential Responsibilities
- Analysis of structures including concrete and steel use of finite element method analyses.
- Working with the following codes preferred: ASCE 43 ASCE 4 ACI 349 & 318 ASCE 7 IBC and AISC N690 Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Proficiency in the Seismic structural analyses
- Proficiency in ANSYS APDL is required. With the ability to build detailed models perform static and seismic runs and develop or modify post-processing scripts
- Proficiency in LS-Dyna is a preferred
- Computer programing skills (e.g. Matlab or Python) is not required but preferred.
- Proficiency in concrete steel and composite structures analysis and design
- AISC/ N690 experience is a preferred
- Proficiency in Polish and English both verbal and written
