We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and this role you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive healthcare services to women focusing on reproductive health pregnancy and childbirth. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions related to the female reproductive system ensuring the well-being of our patients.
As an MD/DO Ob/Gyn you will be involved in a wide range of projects from conducting routine check-ups and screenings to performing surgical procedures and assisting in childbirth. Your role is essential in promoting womens health and addressing their unique medical needs. Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations and evaluating medical histories of patients.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Performing surgical procedures as needed such as cesarean sections or hysterectomies.
- Monitoring and managing pregnancies including prenatal care and postpartum support.
- Providing counseling on reproductive health family planning and menopausal issues.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in the field and incorporating best practices into clinical work.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Ob/Gyn.
- Proven experience in providing obstetric and gynecologic care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality and compassionate patient care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
1:4 call rotation
Level II NICU
Annual Volume: 1300 deliveries
Outpatient Census: 16-20 per day
Surgeries required
DaVinci robot available
Team Structure: 4 additional MDs midwives MFMs
Must be board-certified
Compensation & Benefits:
