About the role

As the Manager - Early Arrears Assist youll guide and develop a team of Customer Support Officers who engage with customers in early arrears working collaboratively to understand their financial situation and provide tailored sustainable solutions. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality customer outcomes improving operational processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Youll also play a key role in re-imagining how the team operates implementing new strategies championing continuous improvement and leveraging data-driven insights to shape better outcomes for both customers and the bank.

As a senior leader youll mentor your team act as a key escalation point and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders advocacy groups and external partners.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact by helping customers regain financial stability while driving innovation and excellence!

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to be located at one of our corporate offices in either Bendigo or Adelaide.

About you

To be successful you will have:

  • Proven experience leading operational teams within the financial services industry.
  • Strong customer service background particularly in customer-facing roles dealing with financial hardship or collections.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change continuous improvement and team transformation.
  • Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strong understanding of risk management compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Previous experience delivering key strategic initiatives and managing operational performance metrics.
