Job Description
- Analyze and document legacy APIs including behavior and structure
- Create clear and comprehensive API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger
- Redesign outdated interfaces into modern REST GraphQL or gRPC services
- Integrate APIs with gateways such as Apigee Kong AWS API Gateway or Azure API Management
- Implement robust security protocols including OAuth2 JWT and mTLS
- Produce developer-friendly documentation to support integration and onboarding
- Proven experience in API architecture design and documentation
- Strong understanding of modern API protocols and patterns
- Hands-on experience with API Gateway platforms
- Expertise in authentication and authorization standards
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within a defined timeline
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Background in consulting or freelance project delivery
