Job Summary

Work Flexibility: Remote

What you will do-

Develop and implement strategies and goals for assigned commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives
Develop and implement processes to build a best-in-class strategic sourcing organization
Negotiate favorable long-term supply contracts and serve as the escalation point in resolving supplier challenges
Partner with Global Category teams in creation and implementation of global category strategies Perform cost analysis and Mako vs Buy analysis as required. Support budget cost roll and financial projection processes
Develop strong relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses
Identify supply base risk develop and implement mitigation plans
Obtain and communicate market condition information and technology trends related to commodities and suppliers
Support related cost controls and business strategy plans
Supports establishment and achievement of cost standards for annual operating budgets.
Supports development of scorecards and business reviews for key suppliers

What you need-

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or related field - required
4 years of relevant professional experience - required
Experience in supply management - highly preferred
Medical Device Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry experience - highly preferred
Influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products materials and services
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within all levels of the organization
Ability to recognize risks and propose and develop contingency plans
Ability to read interpret and translate engineering drawings- preferred

Travel Percentage: 30%
