Key Functions and Expected Performance:
Collaborate with Faculty Instructional Designers and Media Producers to help identify develop and implement learning solutions in support of online hybrid and face-to-face course development.
Research acquire and evaluate educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
Design and implement training programs to help faculty adopt new technologies and teaching practices.
Facilitate course delivery through course building activities: applying standard templates organizing and updating content building out assessments and tools.
Provide LMS support to faculty and students through the development and delivery of documentation user guides and consultations.
Track project timelines and activities updating course status with team and faculty.
Guide faculty through course stages to ensure timely and successful completion within the LMS.
Serve as a liaison between VU teaching resources VUSN Faculty and other pertinent VU/VUSN departments and committees.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Relationships:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility. The position reports administratively and functionally to the Manager Instructional Technology.
Education and Certifications:
Associates degree or professional certificate in an appropriate discipline such as Multimedia Development eLearning Instructional Design or Educational Technology. (necessary) or a bachelors degree or higher in
a relevant area of study (preferred). The degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
