Job Summary

Job Title: RN Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Hyannis MA 02601

Unit: Emergency Department

Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)

Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts Evenings/Nights

Pay Rate: $2550 Weekly Gross

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Direct and guide patient care staff education and activities of ancillary personnel.
Maintain accurate timely and complete patient documentation.
Summarize assessment data initiate care plans and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
Demonstrate proficiency in the charge nurse role when required.
Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems effectively.
Act as a resource for staff orientation and teaching.
Participate in staff meetings mandatory training and quality improvement activities.
Adhere to hospital safety protocols including infection control and blood/body fluid precautions.
Maintain ongoing professional development and stay updated on regulations and best practices.
Uphold professionalism confidentiality and hospital standards when interacting with patients families and staff.
Provide consistent service excellence to patients families and colleagues.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required
At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience required
Proficiency in IV administration IV starts ventilator care and telemetry monitoring required
Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia exam and Pharmacology exam required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Certifications

BLS (AHA) required
ACLS required
PALS required
TNCC required
ENPC required
Active MA RN License required
