Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hong Kong International Airport T2
Working hours: Office hours
Job Description:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including preventive maintenance inspections and emergency repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work through CMMS.
- Preparing and submitting the Technical Report upon resolving the incidents.
- Propose improvements on preventive maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and improve performance.
- Monitor and manage the availability of spare parts and work closely with the Spare Parts Coordinator and the Maintenance Coordinator.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate with the maintenance partner on maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Work effectively with other engineers technicians and operational staff.
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Thrive in an environment that prioritizes safety above all else.
Skills and Qualification:
- A technical bachelors degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronic or similar.
- At least 5 years experience in maintenance of automated Baggage Handling System Material Handling Systems or similar industries having high-level and low-level control systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems equipment processes and maintenance procedures.
- The ability to analyze performance data diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of and experience with Maximo or equivalent CMMS.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple demands and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good Reading Writing and Communication skills in English language and local language.
