Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join its transportation department. Under the direction of logistics leadership you will be an analytical problem-solver accountable for supporting processes with proven data collection and analysis skills. What You Will Do:

  • Foster clear communication with your team and internal contacts to address service related interests.
  • Develop close relationships with key vendors concerning contract terms payments and service while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and perform various logistics activities such as account management database maintenance replenishment and inventory forecasting shortage resolution distribution planning delivery execution and exception management activities.
  • Manage quality service and cost metrics. Regularly analyze and report on measured data while developing and implementing specific plans to achieve improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Previous work experience in logistics transportation operations or a related field
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Finance Transportation or a related field of study
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel and Access
  • SAP experience
  • Previous project management experience
  • Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement think critically and work well in cross-functional teams
