Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for members to support our Banqueting team in their quest to ensure the banqueting operation remains the best banqueting product in Edinburgh!
Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Scotlands leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities of any hotel in Edinburgh with a capacity of up to 500 and our One Square Restaurant and bar.
We are looking for members to join our Banqueting team to support us during the busy season.
Our expectations are that you:
- Provide excellent guest service by discovering all of our guests needs and acting on these needs promptly effectively and with confidence.
- Liaise and communicate effectively to ensure seamless transfer of information takes place.
- To be fully conversant with all banqueting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Food & Beverage service experience preferred
- Previous experience in a client facing role within hospitality is a distinct advantage
- Experience of working within a Team
- Good written and spoken English
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours
- Impeccable personal presentation
