SUMMARY
The Culinary Expo will perform tasks to ensure that Camas Grill customers receive their specific food order thats garnished to meet the expectations of the Camas Grill Restaurant in a clean organized and safe environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspecting the cleanliness presentation and temperature of completed dishes.
- Checks dishes for accuracy and presentation assists in final dish preparation maintains fast service handles customer order complaints and upholds quality and sanitation standards.
- Stock all sauces and condiments in Camas Grill Restaurant.
- Performs periodic measurements of food temperatures.
- Running food items to specific tables and to-go orders to the Hostess in Camas Grill Restaurant.
- Will need to bus tables when needed in Camas Grill Restaurant.
- Communicate with cook staff to ensure ticket times are being met in a timely matter.
- Greet guests in a friendly manner smiling and with an upbeat attitude.
- Promotes a clean safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
- Promptly reports all concerns to Sous Chefs and/or Food & Beverage Supervisor.
- Ensure that the operation of equipment tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
- Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Maintains a positive restaurant culture.
- Follows company safety and security policies and procedural manuals.
- Follow proper garnishes for plated items and restock prepare all garnishes for breakfast lunch and dinner service.
- Correctly perform all necessary paperwork at shifts end.
- Ensures adherence to all relevant quality and sanitation rules and regulations.
- Interact with customers.
- Demonstrates a high degree of Camas menu knowledge ticket timing and reading orders aloud to line cook staff and cashier servers.
- Maintains constant awareness of services promotions and events offered by Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel and informs customers.
- Transfers important information between back-of-house to front-of-house staff.
- Notifies the Sous Chef of all customer feedback of guest needs which may require special accommodation.
- Quick to recognize late ticket times and call outs of food items consistently and accurate.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Must comply complete and maintain all assigned online training programs before due dates.
- MUST MAINTAIN STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY OF ALL INFORMATION PROCESSED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT INCLUDING RECORDS REPORTS DOCUMENTS CONVERSATIONS ETC. A breach of confidentiality will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action up to and including termination from employment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
(G4-G5/S1-3 DOE)
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Two (2) years or more in food service industry or restaurant experience;
- or a combination of training and experience.

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Must be able to communicate effectively in person while on the phone while using intercom/microphone and in writing.
CERTIFICATES LICENSE AND REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma GED Degree and Certificates). if applicable.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a food handlers certification.
- Must be able to pass a complete background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening.
- No drivers license is not required but preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
