A specialist college in West London is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting students aged 1925 with autism sensory impairments physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior SEN experience to step into a role where every day is different and where you can make a real impact.

The Role:
- Support students with autism complex needs and multiple learning difficulties
- Use Makaton signing and symbols to aid communication
- Assist with classroom activities life skills and vocational sessions
- Provide personal care and ensure students wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging sessions
Were looking for:
- A Teaching Assistant with an NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Previous experience in a specialist school or college setting
- Strong communication skills ideally with Makaton experience
- Calm patient and resilient individuals committed to supporting students with SEN
- An Enhanced DBS
