A specialist college in West London is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting students aged 1925 with autism sensory impairments physical disabilities and profound and multiple learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior SEN experience to step into a role where every day is different and where you can make a real impact.

The Role:

Support students with autism complex needs and multiple learning difficulties
Use Makaton signing and symbols to aid communication
Assist with classroom activities life skills and vocational sessions
Provide personal care and ensure students wellbeing
Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging sessions

Were looking for:

A Teaching Assistant with an NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
Previous experience in a specialist school or college setting
Strong communication skills ideally with Makaton experience
Calm patient and resilient individuals committed to supporting students with SEN
An Enhanced DBS
