Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI RF High-Voltage and automotive applications.
Introduction
As a Reliability Engineer intern you will be a member of the Global Reliability Team responsible for reliability characterization and evaluation for advanced Complementary metaloxidesemiconductor (CMOS) technology nodes mainly focusing on supporting Process Reliability Monitoring (PRM) intrinsic wafer-level reliability mechanisms such as electromigration and time dependent dielectric breakdown of Middle of Line (MOL)/Back End of Line (BEOL) interconnects.
Your job
You will be expected to get familiar with the business processes and the Global Reliability support requirements and steadily to gain sufficient knowledge in Reliability Engineering. Among your responsibilities will be the learning of the reliability analysis and lab support for company technologies and customer issues standardization of reporting and data analysis for the purpose of becoming a fully qualified Reliability engineer in the Team.
Required Qualifications
Active student in Electrical Engineering Physics Computer Engineering Telecommunications Automation or equivalent.
Good knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory.
Some programming language background (i.e. C/C Perl Python TCL).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with CAD systems (Cadence IC Cadence OrCAD Protel or similar) is a plus.
Previous experience with circuit simulators (PSpice or similar) or mathematical software (Matlab Mathematica) is also a plus.
