Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Quality Control Engineer inHagerstown MD areas in support of our North American Vehicles projects who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.
Core purpose: The Quality Control Engineer accomplishes the companys quality control/assurance objectives by overseeing worker training requirements quality work assignments communicating job expectations and working with Rolling Stock management to effectively planning monitoring and measuring job & project performance against Rolling Stocks contract requirements while enforcing the companys policies and procedures. The Quality Engineer achieves Rolling Stocks quality control/assurance operational objectives by contributing analysis information and accurate feedback to Rolling Stocks management in support of the companys strategic plans and reviews.
Quality Control Engineer is responsible for overseeing and providing consistent quality of operations and production by developing and enforcing good automated manufacturing practices and systems; validating processes; providing documentation; managing staff measuring quality results. The Quality Control Engineer ensures that all materials components and services provided by suppliers meet Hitachi Rails quality standards and contractual requirements.
This position includes handling of sensitive material that requires discretion.

The salary range for this position is $87100 to $130600 per pay is determined by the candidates experience skillset and ability level internal equity and location.
