JOB SUMMARY: The Art Therapy Group Facilitator position provides mental health services in a group setting for youth participating in Ruth Ellis Center programming. The Art Therapy Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitation of group art therapy and support groups which may include creating curriculum tailoring topics to the unique needs of persons served crisis planning and coordination with Housing and Behavioral Health staff and other Ruth Ellis Center staff as needed. This position makes recommendations for client care and community resources as appropriate and indicated. WHAT YOULL NEED: 1. A masters degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Counseling and have a limited or full professional counseling license (LLC or LPC) or a plan to obtain their (LLC or LPC) within the first 90 days. 2. Art Therapy credentials (ATR-P ATR or ATR-BC) or a plan to obtain Art Therapy credentials within 90 days. 3. Three (3) years experience with general mental health diagnosis treatment. 4. Two (2) years experience with facilitation of group therapy sessions. 5. Experience working with individuals and families involved with Department of Health and Human Services Foster Care Juvenile Justice and experience with homelessness and substance use. 6. Demonstrated knowledge of adolescent development and positive LGBTQ development. 7. Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Software.
