The midnight pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services to patients healthcare providers and hospital staff. The midnight pharmacist ensures safe optimal pharmaceutical therapy outcomes through the verification and dispensing of medication. All activities are done in accordance with established policies procedures and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an American Council on Pharmacy Education accredited school of pharmacy.
Texas Pharmacist License or eligible for Texas Licensure as a registered pharmacist.
Pharmacist and pharmacy preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
New graduates must obtain their preceptor license within 90 days after one year of being licensed as a pharmacist.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
