We are best known for our food delivery platform yet we are on a journey to become an everything app so you can get almost anything in your city delivered to your doorstep in less than an hour - thats what Wolt is all about! Weve grown significantly in the last few years and were just getting started.

Role background

Were now looking for an energetic Team Lead driven by results to support and lead our awesome Sales Managers with a focus on the Grocery segment who will take ownership of growing Wolts grocery portfolio by identifying negotiating closing and developing strategic partnerships with Enterprise level grocery partners.

In this role you will engage in medium-complex business-level logistic and P&L-focused discussions with owners and C-level executives you will need to be comfortable using data insights and versatile enough to hold your own in operations marketing and technical conversations.

Moreover you will have the opportunity to showcase your entrepreneurial flair and collaborate across several teams/functions including our product merchant and marketing teams to build a winning proposition. We have a great base to start from your focus will be to help us build up on and scale this in the local market.

What youll be doing

  • Creating a positive work environment that enables the team to develop.
  • Lead by example in terms of demonstrating Wolt values and behaviors.
  • Identify build and systematically manage a pipeline of new potential Wolt partnerships at store as well as enterprise level (grocery segment).a great fit for Wolt for our Grocery Sales Team
  • Actively build relationships with key Grocery merchants to position Wolt as a partner of choice to support & enable their omni-channel strategy
  • Proactively build and maintain strategic relationships with key grocery partners at a senior level including C-level discussions with leading retailers such as ICA Coop and Axfood to position Wolt as the partner of choice in supporting their long-term omni-channel growth
  • Actively participate in refining the local sales strategy to accelerate Wolts market penetration
  • Making sound business decisions by supporting intuition with data such as understanding store performance in order to set profitable business terms
  • Work closely with Wolt leadership and cross-functional teams (Product Analytics Marketing Operations Support and others) to build a winning proposition for the market
  • Identify and implement suitable OKRs for the local Grocery Team
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching to help the team grow and develop.

Our humble expectations

  • Proven success as a Sales team lead with experience of solution sales business development and negotiation
  • Strong leadership skills and positive can do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • You have strong analytical financial and commercial acumen with instinct for the right opportunities comfortable presenting to Merchant owners/Director/VP/CXO-level stakeholders
  • You are an excellent communicator and natural relationship builder skilled at generating buy-in and building followership with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills - such as translating data into actions or analyzing sales metrics and producing relevant KPIs
  • Experience from FMCG SaaS marketplace eCommerce and/or last-mile logistic-related sales is an advantage
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
