Job Summary
Locum Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology in Ontario OR
Join a dynamic healthcare team in Ontario Oregon! We are seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner to provide essential support in our Neonatology unit. Youll have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility known for its dedication to delivering high-quality care to our most vulnerable patients. As a valued member of our practice you will join an experienced team and provide coverage for a variety of needs ensuring the health and well-being of newborns and their families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage and rounding services.
- Admit patients to a Level II NICU and manage high-risk deliveries.
- Perform intubation and insert UVC lines as necessary.
- Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling with 4-5 day stints preferred.
- Participate in round discharge processes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (required).
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon (required).
- Experience in Neonatology is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Oregon state license.
- NCC certification.
- Current life support certification (BLS).
