Job Summary:
Operates equipment used to manufacture products. Weighs measures and checks raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Maintains inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing. Keeps accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process. Performs in-process tests to ensure that batches meet specifications. Recognizes equipment and product problems notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels.
Candidates for this position must be able to follow written Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions in order to assemble inspect and package chemical based organizational skills and relevant computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) are required for maintaining production records. The ability to safely handle lab equipment/tools and chemicals is required.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manually assemble inspect and package chemical based products.
Perform record keeping and input data sheets.
Organize materials and work areas.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Suggest items for continuous improvement initiative.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED required.
Experience working in an assembly or production environment a plus.
Prior assembly or lean manufacturing experience a plus.
Good manual dexterity meticulous attention to detail and interest/ability to quickly learn new work operations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from ground to table height.
Able and willing to perform both standing and sitting work.
Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication skills.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
