Technical Project Manager

Your Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our development projects for GlobalEye a world-leading airborne surveillance this role you will be part of the project management team with a strong focus on technology and product development.

As Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the project delivers its technical objectives on time within budget and according to defined requirements. You will work in close collaboration with other sub-project managers responsible for areas such as design procurement modifications flight testing and ILS.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and facilitating progress on technical matters across the project
• Coordinating and defining scope schedules budgets and resource needs within technical functions
• Supporting cross-functional development flows and integration between technical processes and sub-projects
• Monitoring technical project activities and ensuring technical commitments are met through proactive leadership
• Representing the project in internal working groups alongside chief engineers
• Driving development activities with subcontractors
• Supporting the project manager in customer interactions when needed

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a passion for leading complex development projects. You are structured solution-oriented and confident in managing both the big picture and technical details.

To succeed in this role you likely have:

• A degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Solid experience in project management within a technical or engineering environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• The ability to prioritize delegate and drive progress independently
• A proactive mindset and a hands-on approach to solving problems

Experience from the aerospace or defense industry and familiarity with development in regulated environments is considered a strong advantage.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
