Location
This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa Canada office at least three days a week.
About the Team
The IT Application Excellence team is responsible for supporting and managing applicatons / systems utitlized by business units in addition we deliver solutions based on business needs as well as work closely with Security and Corporate System team to ensure proper security measures in place.
This is a full-time 8-month position starting January 2026 and is open only to students in a registered Co-op Program.
What you will do
In this role you will develop and support applications managed by the Enterprise Business Systems team at Kinaxis. Our team manages various applications used by Kinaxis both internally and by customers to enable the organization to grow run smoothly and most of all make our employees partners and customers happy. May also perform other projects as assigned.
- Design develop and document solutions on our platforms and applications (i.e. ServiceNow Jira MuleSoft)
- Work closely with senior developers and business analysts
- Support the testing of new features and capabilities on existing applications and platforms providing best practices and analysis to the rest of the team
- Provides efficient solutions to team members within Corporate IT on the necessary support and enhancement of our business applications.
- Ensures that business applications meet compliance requirements
- May perform other projects as assigned
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in a program where software development is the primary focus
- Experience in the development of web applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Self-starter with strong initiative
Things that would definitely help
Experience with one or more of the following:
- NET framework
- C#
- Web development: HTML5 CSS JavaScript PHP
- Web services: SOAP REST
- SQL
