Summary
The In-School Intervention Teacher is responsible for supervising and supporting students who are assigned to in-school intervention as a disciplinary consequence. This role focuses on maintaining a structured positive and respectful learning environment while ensuring students remain engaged in their academic responsibilities during the intervention period.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor students assigned to in-school intervention.
Maintain order discipline and a supportive environment.
Ensure students complete classwork and academic assignments provided by their teachers.
Communicate with administrators teachers and staff regarding student progress and behavior.
Model and promote positive behavior accountability and conflict resolution.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and assignments during intervention.
Minimum Requirements
Appropriate Arizona Teaching Certificate.
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Additional Requirements After Hire
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.
