3rd Shift Supervisor Warehouse Team Member

Summary/Objective

A night shift warehouse supervisor oversees daily operations directs warehouse staff ensures safety and productivity manages inventory coordinates receiving and shipping maintains records and fosters a positive work environment during the night shift. Key responsibilities include team supervision and development enforcing company policies and SOPs maintaining a safe and clean facility meeting operational and quality standards and communicating with management about performance and potential issues.

HOURS:

Monday-Wednesday: 8pm-6am

Thursday: 6pm-11pm

Friday: 4pm-9pm

Essential Functions

• Communicates with Manager regarding any challenges and opportunities on the warehouse floor to meet goals and schedules.
• Adheres to the highest standards of company and safety programs guidelines rules and regulations.
• Operate a forklift to deliver product throughout appropriate warehouse location
• Rotate current inventory to maintain turns and prevent damage/obsolescence.
• Complete appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Proper working condition

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
• Approving employee timecards

Required Education and Experience

• Positive professional customer service skills
• Reports to work and on-time when scheduled.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• 1-2 years of computer experience preferred.
• Basic math skills
• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous leadership position preferred.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work safely.
• Professional and courteous telephone skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in an efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the company to ensure proper exchange of information.
• Must be able to read write and communicate fluently in English.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions accurately.
• Must maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
• Must be able to pass both a written and driving forklift exam and drive a forklift safely.
• Must comply and ensure compliance with all safety OSHA FSMA and company policies.
