Internship Project: Passive Thermal Design
Enphase Energy is opening applications to our Summer Internship Program. This usually runs between mid-November to Mid-February.

Project Description
One of our products currently uses active cooling to meet thermal requirements. We are looking for a student to develop a prototype that meets the same thermal requirements using passive cooling. This student will design and fabricate prototypes then instrument and test their thermal behaviour under real-world conditions.
What we are looking for:
  • Education:A second-year or higher Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering student.
  • Technical Knowledge:Interest in R&D projects. Thermal design experience is desirable but not require.
  • Learning Attitude:Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience: Workshop/ prototyping experience.

About the Christchurch team
Enphase Energy New Zealand is located in Wigram Christchurch. We are a Research and Development Centre focused on the design and testing of our cornerstone product the Microinverter. Enphase New Zealand has a team of around 130 plus engineers and support staff.
