Internship Project: Microinverter Thermal Strategy
Enphase Energy is opening applications to our Summer Internship Program. This usually runs between mid-November to Mid-February.

Project Description
Higher-powered Microinverters result in higher losses and hence the need to develop new strategies to combat internal heat generation. This project will involve development of processes for dealing with excess heat. Using simulation tools and techniques the successful candidate will be involved in designing and exploring novel concepts to enhance cooling performance.
The aim of this project is to advance our thermal design insight enable faster design iterations and develop our ability to design more robust products.
What we are looking for:
Education:
  • A minimum of 2 years study towards a Mechanical Engineering degree
Technical Knowledge:
  • Mechanical design and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of heat transfer
  • Understanding of Simulation tools and techniques
  • Good documentation and communication skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

  • 3D modelling in Solidworks
