Be a part of a community of experts committed to ensuring quality affordable healthcare worldwide.The Strategic Meeting Planning Specialist coordinates all event preparations including working 1:1 with the program manager to clarify event needs of their customers develops registration websites following corporate branding standards manages attendee experience including registration processes hotel accommodations menu selection air/train/ground transfers and on-site support while event is in progress. This person will also source appropriate event venues manage and track all event expenses while adhering to assigned budget to ensure accurate transfer of value reporting to the government. This position will be a hybrid position in Bogot.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Plan organize and execute internal and external business meetings conferences and programs in compliance with Medtronic policies ensuring strategic alignment stakeholder engagement and innovative event experiences.
- Manage budgets billing and cost-saving initiatives while overseeing contracts vendor negotiations and full logistical support including venues catering and transportation.
- Coordinate AV/production and technical services as well as attendee experience through registration platforms communication and onsite hospitality to guarantee smooth execution.
- Analyze and report on meeting metrics track value-proposition indicators and provide post-event reporting for continuous improvement.
- Support events onsite collaborating with lab managers to ensure equipment readiness with flexibility for travel (up to 10%) and extended or weekend hours when needed
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelors degree
- Fluent in English
- Two or more years of relevant experience in a customer-facing position working cross-functionally with sales teams marketing clinical research and quality
- Knowledge in event management and MS Office Suite
