Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Dry Mix Production Room Supervisor the Cement Bagger is responsible for accurately filling stacking and palletizing bags of cement-based products while ensuring product quality safety and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate and adjust the bagger machine independently including weight settings.
Ensure correct bag type is used for each product per verbal and written instructions.
Monitor bag weights visually to ensure they meet specifications; adjust bagger as needed.
Verify that process order numbers and expiration date stamps are accurate clear and legible.
Immediately report any deviations or equipment malfunctions to supervisor or maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized bagging area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
Strong coordination skills to work effectively with other team members.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow supervisor instructions accurately.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Commitment to safe work practices consideration for co-worker safety and proper use of required PPE.
Education and Experience
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
