Job Description
The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated GIS Technician. The GIS Technician will collect create update and perform QA/QC on new and existing GIS data using ESRI MS Office 365 Trimble and Android/Apple-based products. This position also maintains a current repository of data from a variety of outside sources provides GIS support to end users and produces high quality outputs for both internal and external users. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role as are high levels of accuracy timeliness and dependability.

At the end of the day you find great satisfaction out of usingGIS tools to gather and convert data for GIS mapping research and analyze data records plot maps for projects and update our database to ensure our engineers have the most current mapping information you can do those things and meet the following requirements we would be happy to speak with you:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in GIS Geography or Planning or a related technical field AND at least one (1) year of experience Including ESRI ArcGIS software and survey-grade GPS technology ORany equivalent combination of experience and training which provides knowledge skills and abilities.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365 products ArcGIS Online and ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
- Valid Texas Class C Drivers License.
