Description

Deputy Director of Strategic Innovation

The Arc of King County serves all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan: from prenatal diagnosis through end-of-life care.Our programs include: Information and Family Support; Supported Living Services; and Public Policy and Civic Engagement. We promote and protect the human and civil rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) actively supporting their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetime.

The Director of Strategic Innovation is a visionary leader who drives the organizations programmatic activities and ensures they are impactful efficient and aligned with the organizations mission. This includes Supported Living Public Policy & Civic Engagement Information & Family Support as well as the addition of any new programs.

Department: Admin

Reports to: Executive Director

Hours/Salary/Benefits

This is a full-time supervisory exempt position with full benefits. Pay for this position ranges from $98k to $100k depending on experience.

Education

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Public Administration HumanResources or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7 years of progressive leadership experience preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources IT systems and facilities management.
  • Experience working with or advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Key Competencies:

    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Suite
