Full-Time Caregiver (PSS) Guaranteed Pay Mileage (Portland Area)

Hands at Home is hiring Full-Time Caregivers (PSS) for ourFloat/On-Call Programin Portland and surrounding areas.We know how important stability is. Thats why weguarantee at least 25 paid hours per week even if client shifts get canceled. Pay ranges from$23 to $30 per hour plusmileage at $0.70/mile.
What Makes This Role Different:
Set On-Call Hours: MondaySaturday 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Guaranteed Minimum Pay:25 hours/week even if you arent fully scheduled
Weekly Schedule Provided:Youll receive your schedule by Saturday for the coming week
Shift Coverage:If a client cancels or additional shifts open our staffing manager will reach out to add them to your schedule
Back-Up Work Included:If client hours fall short youll still be paid for shadowing training or office support
Dependability Matters:Accepting available hours ensures your guaranteed pay. Declining shifts may reduce eligibility for the weekly minimum
What Youll Do:
Providepersonal care companionship and light homemakingin clients homes
Step in when other caregivers are unavailable ensuring families have reliable support
Deliver care with flexibility compassion and a positive attitude

Travel within Portland and surrounding service area
Assignments may be up to 1 hour away
Mileage reimbursement at $0.70/mile
What Were Looking For
1 year caregiving experience preferred (home care assisted living or facility)
Valid drivers license reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
Able to pass a background check
Compassion adaptability and strong communication skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
