The PARC Vet a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner is growing and we need incredible people like you to join our team! We are currently hiring a Veterinary Technician Assistant!
At The PARC Vet we believe in what is called the space between the special bond that connects people with their pets. As we look for ways to maximize that bond we treat veterinary care as revolutionary care throughout your stay or appointment. Our veterinary services span across emergency wellness illness and new pet services.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Have experience with animal care in a veterinary setting
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team player
- Assist Veterinary Technicians with the duties associated with daily assignments as determined by Operations Manager:Outpatient/Rooms ICU ER Surgery
- Perform basic animal care and husbandry.
- Safely restrain and handle pets for Veterinary Technicians and Doctors.
- Stock the hospital with necessary supplies.
- Obtain and record patient histories and basic vitals.
- Clean throughout the hospital.
