Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a dedicated and motivated Pastoral Student Assistant to join a driven and ambitious school to play a key role in supporting the welfare behaviour and personal development of our students.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to young students lives by providing the care guidance and support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Pastoral Student Assistant Key responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day pastoral support for students
• Ensuring their wellbeing and safeguarding needs are met
• Work closely with teaching staff senior leaders parents and external agencies to support positive behaviour attendance and engagement.
• Attend to daily student problems outside of an educational background

Pastoral Student Assistant About you:

• 2:1 or 1:1 in a relatable subject from a Top 20 UK University
• Experience working with young people in an educational work setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students staff and families
• The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
