The Role:
- Review drawings specifications and tender documents to assess scope
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for labour materials equipment and subcontractors
- Conduct site visits to gather project information
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Prepare detailed take-offs cost breakdowns and pricing documents
- Identify risks value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures
- Assist with bid preparation tenders and client presentations
- Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure estimates align with delivery plans
The Person:
- 34 years post-graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator
- Strong cost management estimating and contract administration knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in software such as Evaluate & Procore
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
