Duties and Responsibilities:

We re looking for a Backend Engineer with strong PHP/Laravel experience to join our team in Mexico. You ll be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems APIs and integrations to support new applications and infrastructure from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Design build and maintain scalable backend services using PHP/Laravel.
Develop APIs and integrations to support web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with frontend/mobile engineers to ensure smooth communication between systems.
Contribute to setting up and maintaining a new infrastructure and codebase.

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelors Degree (ideally)

Experience: 5 years of related experience

Based in Mexico with strong English communication skills.
Solid experience with PHP/Laravel backend development.
Familiarity with AI APIs (OpenAI Gemini Claude etc.) (nice to have).
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding (nice to have).
