Charge Nurse- ED (Contract Role) Location: Beverly MA 01915
Duration: 13 week
Shift: 12-hr. Night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2736; (Negotiable based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate shift operations within the Emergency Department.
- Assign nursing staff based on patient acuity and staff competency.
- Monitor patient care activities for quality safety and compliance with policies.
- Respond promptly to critical situations and emergencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff physicians and support services during the shift.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication among staff members.
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new or traveling staff.
- Assist in resolving conflicts and provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Participate in clinical care as needed including assessments medication administration and interventions.
- Facilitate communication between departments and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
Requirements:
- Certifications:
- Active MA Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- Experience:
- 2 years tele experience 1 year previous travel experience required
- Previous Charge Nurse experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
