Job Summary

Charge Nurse- ED (Contract Role)

Location: Beverly MA 01915

Duration: 13 week

Shift: 12-hr. Night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours

Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2736; (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate shift operations within the Emergency Department.
Assign nursing staff based on patient acuity and staff competency.
Monitor patient care activities for quality safety and compliance with policies.
Respond promptly to critical situations and emergencies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for staff physicians and support services during the shift.
Ensure proper documentation and communication among staff members.
Support onboarding and mentoring of new or traveling staff.
Assist in resolving conflicts and provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
Participate in clinical care as needed including assessments medication administration and interventions.
Facilitate communication between departments and escalate concerns to management when necessary.

Requirements:

Certifications:
- Active MA Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
Experience:
- 2 years tele experience 1 year previous travel experience required
- Previous Charge Nurse experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
