Job Summary

Position: Project Manager Rebar Detailing
Location: Chennai
Experience: 12 years in rebar detailing with at least 3 5 years in a leadership/project management role
Industry: Construction / Structural Engineering / Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage rebar detailing projects from initiation to delivery ensuring adherence to US (ACI ASTM CRSI) and German (DIN Eurocode BS EN) standards.
Coordinate with clients contractors and internal teams to ensure accurate detailing and timely submission of drawings.
Supervise and mentor detailing teams ensuring high-quality outputs using tools such as AutoCAD RebarCAD Tekla ASA or similar software.
Review check and approve shop drawings bar bending schedules (BBS) and material take-offs.
Develop project schedules allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain strong communication with clients in the US and European markets handling technical queries and resolving conflicts.
Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
10 years of experience in rebar detailing and project management.
Strong knowledge of US (ACI/ASTM/CRSI) and German/European (DIN/Eurocode/BS EN) standards.
Hands-on expertise in RebarCAD AutoCAD Tekla Structures ASA or similar software.
Proven experience in managing large-scale rebar detailing projects for US and European clients.
