Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java AWS Architect to join our team onsite in Jersey City. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring strong technical leadership solution design and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services.
Lead end-to-end solution development from requirements gathering to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers DevOps and business stakeholders.
Ensure best practices in cloud architecture security scalability and performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Stay current with emerging technologies and AWS service offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10 years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise.
5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services (Lambda ECS S3 RDS CloudFormation etc.).
Proven experience in designing microservices and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate.
Experience with Spring Boot API Gateway and serverless architectures.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
