Mechanical Design & Test Engineer (CREO)

Mechanical Design & Test Engineer (CREO) position in Orlando FL.

US Citizenship is required for this position

Security Clearance IS NOT required but the ability to qualify for a Secret Security Clearance IS REQUIRED to apply for this position

1^st Shift working four 10-hour days typically with every Friday off (4/10 Work Schedule)

Work will be 100% onsite

Job description:

Candidate must be local to the Orlando FL site at this position will require the contractor to be onsite 100% of the time.

Mechanical engineer for the Test Engineering Mechanical COE.

Responsibilities include detailed mechanical design and drafting of test stations design changes and general CAD modeling.

Design responsibilities shall also include designing vibration fixtures for units under test and fixtures for thermal testing.

Preferred skills and skills to be developed are understanding and implementation of geometric tolerancing experience in 3D modeling (CREO experience required) optical physics understanding of precision machining design review presentations.

Required Experience:

- Candidates must be able to create 3D models and CCAs harnesses and cables- implementation of geometric tolerancing experience in 3D modeling (CREO experience required) optical physics understanding of precision machining design review presentations.

- 5 years experience of Creo.

- 5 years experience in Mechanical design or Electromechanical design.

- At least 1 year of Windchill experience.

- Coordination with the documentation group on both program product design as well as the test engineering packaging group is also required.

Desired Experience: (Not Required)

- Zuken experience

Security Clearance Comments:

Ability to obtain interim secret clearance.
