Job Description
- AWS typescript and Java experience
- Developer needs to have experience with java
- Lot of the work is going to be legacy code java running on liberty servers and sending that over to an AWS base and using typescript for IAC
- Excellent TS and Java script well versed in SQL python is a nice to have but they are getting away from that
- Day to day work: project work have an on call rotation to handle production issues as they come up
- Java: not hands on development in java need to have a good understanding of java so they can see what the legacy code is
- AWS: using lambdas S3 buckets
- Loading data in to S3 buckets being sent to third party vendors that handle their printing needs synchronous and synchronous communications
- Need experience with API gateway and basic understanding with networking features (route 53 hosted zones) how they come together and call an API
- Services are interacting with a Postgres database good SQL skills
- Event bridge is another piece
