Job Summary

Sr. Java Developer

Only on W2

Only Local to Des Moines Iowa

Required Skills:

AWS typescript and Java experience
Developer needs to have experience with java
Lot of the work is going to be legacy code java running on liberty servers and sending that over to an AWS base and using typescript for IAC
Excellent TS and Java script well versed in SQL python is a nice to have but they are getting away from that
Day to day work: project work have an on call rotation to handle production issues as they come up
Java: not hands on development in java need to have a good understanding of java so they can see what the legacy code is
AWS: using lambdas S3 buckets
Loading data in to S3 buckets being sent to third party vendors that handle their printing needs synchronous and synchronous communications
Need experience with API gateway and basic understanding with networking features (route 53 hosted zones) how they come together and call an API
Services are interacting with a Postgres database good SQL skills
Event bridge is another piece
